High  School

The High School consists of Grade 8 to Grade 12 (Matriculation). These are the senior classes where we prepare students not only for higher education in Technikons and Universities, but to a larger extent for future responsibilities. Its note worthy that majority of students when they matriculate do not immediately go to higher education but rather go job hunting.

In order to ensure that our students pass the senior certificate, we have introduced Saturday classes for all Grade 11 and Grade 12.

Our Matriculants have consistently performed well above their counterparts in Gauteng. This can be attested by certificates received from the Gauteng Department of Education. At the moment the following subjects are undertaken at the High School level, these subjects are divided according to the following categories:

Sciences

English language
Afrikaans Language
Mathematics/Mathematical Literacy
Biology/Life Sciences
Physical Science
Vernacular (Grade 12 Only)
Computer Literacy

Humanities

Commercials

Apart from these, every student is expected to be part of at least one extra-curricular activity. These includes: debating club, wildlife club, sports etc. We believe that all studies and no play makes them dull students!

GRADE 8-10

Although some flexibility is exercised in respect of admission age in these Grades, learners will be generally accommodated at the entrance level that best reflects their scholastic ability and proficiency. Please note that the learner may be required to undertake a scholastic test before admission.

GRADE 11-12

Unfortunately due to state reporting obligations, we are unable to take Grade 11-12, as such a new student must start from at least Grade 10 so that we can have portfolio work to report to the GDE at Grade 11 and Grade 12.
