Learners Rules and Regulations
Principals
Golden Rules
In order to enable us
serve you better, and in order to make the learning
environment friendly and conducive, the following
rules and regulations should be observed by all
learners at all times. These rules and regulations
are not a substitute to commonsense which should
prevail at all times.

Punctuality must be
observed at all times. School times begin at
7.30am for Primary School and 8.00am for High
School
-
Drinking Alcohol,
Smoking or taking any form of illegal and
"legal" drugs or narcotics is strictly
prohibited. Failure to observe this rule will
result in suspension or expulsion from the
school
-
Stealing or theft of
property from either the school or any student
is prohibited; offenders will be suspended from
school
-
No student will:
-
Bring firearms
or any form of weapon in to the school
-
Call any form of
meeting without consulting the
administration through proper permission
-
Leave school
premises without prior permission during
learning hours
-
Have visitors
during learning hours
-
Start a fight,
bully or intimidate other learners, workers
or staff while in the school or out of
school premises
-
Litter, mess or
write graffiti on the walls
-
Be absent,
abscond class or not do schoolwork. Such
behaviour will lead to detention after
school hours
-
Hairstyles,
fingernails, jewellery and earrings should be
kept as formal as possible
-
Learners will be
held responsible for breakages they have done
and will have to pay for such damages
-
English is the
medium of instruction and communication
-
Morning devotions
must be respected and attended
-
Parents and
Guardians will be notified in writing and
telephonically pertaining any misconduct and
disciplinary action taken against his/her child
-
If called upon to
bring a parent/guardian, and failure to do
so, a learner will not be allowed to attend
classes until such requirements are met.
-
Students may be
required to attend a disciplinary committee if
found flouting these rules and regulations.
-
Pornography or any
material which is deemed as adult content is
strictly forbidden in the school premises, this
includes: opening content which is pornographic
in nature in the Internet Cafe situated in the
school, bringing in adult videos and mpegs in
the computer lab, cell phones. If caught with
such material we will expel the learner with
immediate effect.
-
Sexual harassment of
any nature including and not limited to talking
or verbally abusing other kids is strictly
prohibited. If caught the learner will be
expelled.
-
Carrying of Cell
phones, MP3/MP4 and Mpeg Players including ipod
and any music streaming gadgets in the school is
prohibited. If caught, the gadget or cell phone
will be confiscated and released only after 25th
December.
-
These rules must be
signed for by the student and the
parent/guardian before formally being allowed to
start classes.
