Science Labs

Laboratory Facilities

Science subjects require laboratories, and JPI has at least three science labs to cater for the more than 300 students currently undertaking the sciences rather than humanities and commercial subjects.

  • Biology/Life Science Laboratory
  • The Physics laboratory
  • Chemistry Laboratory

Each of these labs is fully equipped to enable the young scientists carry out their experiments. The laboratories has fully qualified laboratory technicians to help the teachers in preparations of experiments well in advance before class.

Safety measures have also been incorporated in the science laboratories to ensure that both safety of the students as well as the staff is guaranteed.

We are currently improving on the science equipment and buying chemicals necessary for the laboratories, however we would appreciate donations for the lab equipment.

Our Science educators are committed to make sure that all learners are capable of passing and succeeding in their chosen careers as scientists.

All our matric results for the past five years have shown tremendous improvement compared to the national average, and we will continue to improve on these as we invest more on science and computer technology.
